A few important points worth reminding you of before you come to our event.
The water temperature is generally between 21 and 24°C in Lake Sainte-Croix at this time of year, and it will be slightly cooler in the Gorges 🌡️
Therefore, wearing a wetsuit is allowed but not mandatory ✅
We will provide a more accurate update on the water temperature a few days before the races 🙌
Regarding swimmers’ equipment, the safety buoy is allowed but not mandatory, and there will be no aid station on the course 🛟
And finally, here is a reminder of the schedule for the VSE 3.5 and VSE 6.0 races ⬇️
- Swim caps collection at the Base Nautique de la Cadeno (times available on the website)
- Race starts at the Base Nautique de l’Étoile
- You can get there by shuttle or be dropped off by car
- Race briefing 20 minutes before the start
- All finishes take place at the Base Nautique de la Cadeno
